Need help for mods

Hello, I'm new to this forum, I just got my MazdaSpeed like last thursday. It's awesome! :) I read about joe boost controller, intercoolers, computers to control the fuel. I tried to figure out what I needed to do what I want, but I'm just a beginner, so I don't want to screw up my car. Basically, what I would like to do is to have some turbo gauges inside my car, have a boost controller that I can control from within the cockpit. I want to be able to boost to around 9 psi when I need it, and run on the stock settings when I don't. Is there any way I can do this ? And if so, what kind of parts would I need and how much can I expect to put into this ?

I tried searching the forums for this kind of information, but I get lost in the techno-babble, and the contradictions.

Thanks a lot

electronic boost controllers arent as reliable, and not as accurate as mbc's...if your gonna get an electric...get the profec b at least...mechanical boost gauges are more accurate also

i dont understand how mechanical would be more accurate or reliable. why do electronic stuffs costs alot more if they are worse?

the hallman rx isn't for our cars. it is designed for the RX-7. it has a lighter ceramic ball. the one hallman that you can adjust from within the cockpit is tyte. but i would go with joe p. its cheaper and does the same thing. the embc uses a solenoid to turn the knob on the mbc. only up and down. no presets.

If your new to the tuning thing do yourself a favor and go buy Maximum Boost by Corky Bell. I just finished reading it and I now know exactly what I want to do, and more importantly, WHY. You spent $20k on the car, invest the $30 to not blow it up.

I dunno, i dont see why it wouldnt work the same. Being able to control the amount of boost from within the cockpit is a major plus. I just might go with the Hallman Evo kit.

Anyone have any other reasons why i shouldt use this MBC?

Hey Betrayer !

Hi I live in Quebec Too !

Sorry guys for the little text in french , otherwise I take triple of time to write it ! ;)
