ive got 4 (front and rear) lowering springs (red) for a 95 protege dx....if you find out they fit then message me an offer ...

The term real cheap can only apply Honda Civics when you are looking for aftermarket parts. Lowering springs you can anywhere, eBay, forums, and such. As far as the bumper, Corksport is THE only place that sells them here, and it is not that expensive. For a part that is rare, and does not have a high demand, its a damn good price. Why would you want a JDM bumper anyways? You do know its shorter than USDM bumpers, and requires the removal of rebar, which is a very important factor of reinforcement for your bumper. If you remove it, and bump some one at 5mph, you might as well kiss your new bumper good bye, as well as your headlights, and hood. If you want to make a show car out of it, don't bother. Other then two bad Erebuni kits, there is nothing else available. Its all custom, and its all MONEY!

i know ive read about having to take the reinforcement out...but i figured if i could find a j-spec reinforcement (if there is one) then maybe it would work out...my only other option is to buy a new oem protege bumper an cutting it in half long way and buying another front bumper and mold it to it....did that with my probe...stock probe GT bumper and a ZX2 bumper...looked awsome.
well i thought the springs at corksport were a little high because all other years except mine for the springs were going for like 60-100$ ...would a spring from a 99 protege fit?
i know i noticed there isnt much out there for us but i figured therede be more then this lol. and when i had my probe GT i thought it was one of the only vehicles that there wasnt much for aftermarket for ....guess i was wrong haha
see it wont be really a show car....just a daily driver for my gf, and i want it to look nice for her as it isnt much to look at stock...

i already put HIDs in it....system...2 12 inch subs but putting 2 more in so 4 12s soon in custom box...tinted the windows....clear corners....
still need spoiler,bodykit,and rims....thinking of maybe lowering it after i see how low a body kit brings it....
p.s. in the backround of this picture is my project truck for a show vehicle....

ok here is what i think im gonna go with....
honda civic fron and rear bumpers(need to be cut and molded to stock protege bumpers...will take lots of work)
contour SVT sideskirts...
acura integra spoiler...
and honda civic scoop( cut out hood scoop and mold it to stock protege hood, and blend.)
hood= http://images.andale.com/f2/118/100/11257562/1095425404848_HDM_HC96V.jpg

front bumper= http://eccmotorsports.com/ebay/HC-92501.jpg

rear bumper= http://www.x3racing.com/bumperlip/BLR-HC92-3DR-TR.jpg (but not for sure on which style rear bumper)

spoiler= http://i14.ebayimg.com/01/i/03/49/74/3b_1_b.JPG

sideskirts= http://home.kc.rr.com/newshore/Cars/SVT-New2.jpg

now i just have to do all the measurements to make it all proportionate(sp?)
what do you guys think?

turbonium is right, parts for our car is so darn expensive. Theres that dropzone springs but im not sure it its worth it. IM thinking of getting a speed springs or eibach since they are the same. Hopefully you can work something out on that bumper. That safety issue abt the rebar being out made me think twice on putting the jdm ones. Ill stick to safety than sorry. My 2 cents

Do what you like, cause it's your car and you're the one who has to drive it. If you do hook it up, take lots of pictures. I'm just getting started on a 98, so I'm interested to see how your project turns out.

Just to let you know, I'm running the ground control coilover kit with the KYB struts, and it's an awesome setup, especially with lightweight wheels.
