Need help engine dies when in reverse

Ok guys need some help my 5 is dying when I go into reverse I have an auto transmission what could cause this? I just put new spark plugs I aslo have replaced the MAF. So any help would be great just paid the 5 off then all the crap starts to happen

Is it only reverse that it dies in? Have you tried cleaning the throttle body? http://www.autoserviceprofessional.com/article/91698/how-to-fix-a-mazda-that-stalls-at-stop

So it dies mostly in reverse but sometimes in drive at a stop. I did get a cel and it said something about a misfire on coil #2 so I replaced all ingntion coils and it seemed to have worked so far but thanks for the link I might try to clean that soon if it continues to happen.

Ok so after all said and done finally found out what went wrong needed to get a new ecu and 4 new coil packs then 4 more coil packs cause the old ecu fried the first four. Everything is running smooth now. Also on a side note mazdas power steering sucks if you need it replaced cost me $1400 for it but got a 3/36000 warranty so can't complain to much cause this is my 3rd pump.just hope everything works for awhile now
