Here is the problem, I have a MP5 that is boostd and CEL is P0171. Car has been smoke tested at my buddy shop no leaks, what he has come across is at idle the can runs lean, but uner accelaration runs fine o2 sensor reads normal. fuel trim is at -50%.
I have a MSP ECU reflashed in the car, running a GT28 EWG, HKS BOV, stock injectors, 626 IM, Perrin fuel rail, stock FPR(MP5), 1.8 coil packs w/NGK wires, stock TB bored out to 60mm
looking for any ideas to fix the problem

Coils, wires, plugs have all been changed, egr has been cleaned

also have signature sounds breather kit, could a idle air control valve be causing my lean problem

IS the idle inconsistent like does it go up or down on it's own sometimes. To check the iac valve pull it out with the wires still plugged in and turn the ignition on, if the little stick moves the iac motor works it just may need some cleaning with some Carb cleaner.

No broken Mani studs or hair line cracks. I'm out of ideas
checked for cracks none, I was missing one bolt I replaced it and still have the code. its a MAM 1st gen sleeper

it does once in a while like it wants to die out, but then the car runs great I did clean it a couple years back

Bump
Found couple small leaks, fixed them re smoked the car. Found that egr is leaking from the middle section(installed new one) found that short term fuel trim bounce from 14to21 at idle. Adjusted the TPS to 17% was at 6% to see if that would help and it didn't, did a fuel pressure test and found that it is only at 40psi at start but not running. Shop print out said that the pressure should be at 75-90 at start. So I am going to change the fuel pump. Anybody with some other ideas

I have swapped out the fuel pump, I don't have any codes as of yet. But my wide band is showing lean at idle all the time, only when I go driving does it jump up to normal reading. I have 3 sensors not read CAT, o2s and EGR I need 1 more to be ready to pass emissions test, but I have been driving all over and it won't reset and no CEL any ideas

Where is your maf located? if its in the stock location check for a leak between the maf adn the turbo. I had that issue with my old cobb intake

Well th cel is back same code P0171, it went from lean reading before the cel came on to reading 14.5-15.9 on my wide band after the cel came on. Kind of lost on what else it could be, going to check wiring at the ECM since I did Flyin Mita control wires in before I installed the MSP ECM.

Edit:: FM o2 voltage clamp

Do you have a line from the PCV vent hose on the valve cover that runs to fresh air before the turbo after the air filter?

Pulsation dampener on the end of the fuel rail perhaps.

To pass emissions, on a empty tank fill it up with 2 or 3 gal of 100 octane,
just for the test. That will solve the lean code at idle.

Did you mod the VTCS etc to be wide open. I have mine screwed, locked open. It makes idle bad & that is a lean issue at idle sometimes. Each car acts different!
It might be an air leak?

You can pass the test, but it needs to be fixed!

I swapped the stock IM back in, I just fixed a loose connection at the ecu for the o2 wire
