Need advice, please. MSP for under 10k?

If it turns out it's a good car with a decent history, 9k is more than fair with the mileage. I've got over 56k on mine now. I'm not too big on yellow either, but one exception is with the MSP. The mica in the paint really makes a difference, and they light up big time under lights or the right sunlight, just like my spicy does.

I don't know that I'd worry too much about the turbo. It's always a roll of the dice. FWIW, I don't run a turbo timer either, but I run either Redline or Royal Purple synthetic and don't shut it right off if I've been running it hard. The water cooling on our turbos helps with operating temps, and according to Garrett, it's specifically "clocked" or positioned to allow the coolant to be drawn through as the hot coolant rises through the housing after shutoff.

Another thing to consider is that they're asking 9k. If you negotiate well, you might get them down even more. If I were in the market for one, I'd be hard pressed to pass on even a decent MSP for between 8-9 grand.

Sounds like me but I went 103,000 miles running 12-15PSI daily and Mobil 1 synthetic without a turbo timer. I always just listen to the radio for 30-60 seconds before shutting it down. I did get my turbo upgraded but it wasn't due to longevity it was the fact I went mod nuts and wanted more power.
Callway says we don't need a turbo timer due to the "heat syphon effect."
Water is drawn through our turbo after the car is shut off.
