okay, if its already available please link me, but...

i am in need of a clear battery cover. i have a customized optima i want to put in my 3, but i dont want it hidden, at the same time i like the clean look of a cover, and don't want to hack a piece of plexi into the exsisting one.

any help appreciated in advance.

no parts like that exist for the 3 as far as i know.... i would be happy with just an aluminum tie down nothing to fancy as my optima sits about 1 inch lower then the reg battery.

dude, cut a piece of "furring strip", or 1x3 wood piece, about 6-8 inches long, remove battery, place wood underneath, reinstall...tighten down battery tie-down.

You want one formed like the stocker? That will take a commitment of a few 100 at least before anyone will really look at it. Now CF cover with a clear top, that would be sick. I will have to see how hard that will be but I have to many other CF goodies started as it is and I have to back off my supplier.

There is a universal tie-down available with the aluminum screws. I had em on my old truck and it worked just fine.

dude, did you even read the post, no mention at all of a tie-down. this is something different entirely.

He is just giving you alternatives to show off your battery...since it doesn't seem like you will be able to get the clear cover anytime soon.
