are there any speed 3 GT w/ navigation owners out there that have installed a aftermarket sub in their car?

my friend who owns a 2004 lexus is300 has the same type of navigation as our cars and the audio store people said the sub and his navi are not compatible and all this s*** has to be rewired...($400 for installation)

is this true for our car as well??

i really dont know s*** about audio electronics so a simple yes or no would be great.

The nav. will not mess with the installation with subs. Buy an RCA converter and you will have no problems at all.

The NAV has nothing to do with the positive and negative signals that go out to the speakers. That is all you need
