NA spark plug questions

EXTREMELY off topic here, but has anyone seen that episode of Crank Yankers where the retarded kid with the football helmet calls for movie tickets?

"How much for a movie ticket?"(in a hyper, retarded kid voice)
"Five dollars"
"How much for two movie tickets?"
"Do the math, it's 10 dollars"
"How much for three movie tickets?"
"Come on now.."
"How much for three movie tickets?"
"Well that would be 15 dollars now wouldn't it?"
"Yeah! I can bring two of my friends! How much for 4 movie tickets?"
"Do the math, 4 times 5"
"How much for 4 movie tickets?"
"*sigh* 20 dollars!"
"Yeah! I can bring two of my friends, Yeah! How much for 5 movie tickets?"
"25 DOLLARS!"
"Yeah! I can bring two of my friends!"

LOL...sorry, Greg's "Yeah, redline" comment made me think of it. Sorry for the thread-jack Greg....if you haven't seen the show, that was a big waste of typing...

I have seen crank yankers....and it is appropriate....
What speed were u going?
Yeah! Redline..
what rpm?
Yeah! Redline...
that would be a good episode.

So, changing out my spark plugs today. Planning to get the extended reach for the first time, and have a couple of questions:
1) I often push my car to redline, and my NA engine is slightly modded (Typhoon) with more mods on the way (OBX header, cat-back exhaust). Given that, should I move up to the colder 6 heat range plug, extended reach of course?
2) With the extended reach plug, will I need to use a higher octane fuel, cuz right now I'm using 87 octane.
3) What's the torque setting on the plugs?

HEY LADY

Thanks, I made the switch on Saturday. Switched to extended reach, heat 6 plugs. Kept it at 87 octane and all seems good. I also installed a K&N Typhoon intake in the same sitting so it's hard to tell where the performance gains/changes are coming from: intake or plugs? Definitely seems to be less pull under 3-4k, but after that it really pulls quickly through the RPM range. I'm hoping to get OBX headers and exhaust soon so there should be a bigger improvement after that.
