Yo! My roomate and i are trying to start up a NA car club in the raleigh, nc area. It will basically be just a group of people hanging out on Friday or Saturday nights sharing their love for NA motors, with the possibilty of sponsorships and all that good stuff. We are going to meet this Friday the 11th at the Mini City Food Lion parking lot by the taco bell, on Capitol Blvd. any car is invited as long as it is a naturally aspirated 4 cylinder. PM me if you are interested.
Later,
Scott

I love this idea, and have thought about something like it for Ontario, but I wouldn't know where to find all the NA fans....

Well...I'll be working on Friday night, but I would love to keep up with this. My car has been in the garage more this year than it has been drivable so I'm itching to get it out and drive it. I'll have my new head on this week so working this weekend really sucks. It looks like the weather might get a little crappy later this week. Maybe we should postpone it a little.

Hey, there is not much in Milwaukee either. I have to drive down to Chicago for all the action.

Dude your car is STILL down!? I feel your pain. My car 's down time has to be damn close to the total amount of time I've been driving it.

I work all weekend so I'm a no show this weekend for sure. Don't plan around me though. My car might not even be running by then anyway.

It has been out of the garage a total of 2 weeks this whole year. I've had the head off three times in as many monthes. I just got done porting out the spare head today. I'll polish it out tomorrow and put it back on the car. I let a local friend use my EGR tube and a coolant line to finish up his turbo install so I have to wait for the dealer to get me new ones in a few days. I had the head shaved .010 and some shims put under the valve springs upping the pre-load to help keep the valves from floating. I'm lucky I have the old stationwagon to drive around.
