My very own CEL thread...

CEL came on - something to do with the EGR. So in attempt to clean the EGR, I removed a some of the intake components (for access - like the boot etc). Long story short, I couldn't get to the EGR in the time I had (plus I removed what I think is the TP sensor - the one right on top to the rear of the throttle body input with the white tab on the inside that twists) and by the time the bolts sheared out and I replaced them, I was frustrated and put everything back for another day. I then reset the CEL, and it came right back on, this time with P0106 (MAP sensor). Is this a coincidence, or did I jar something loose? What would cause P0106?

How to fix (I want to sell the car, but can't with the CEL on).

Everything runs fine, btw!

As an aside, I also attempted to remove/check one of the sensors on the front side of the intake boot (the MAF, i think), and the screw heads sheared/cammed out - how do I remove them now?

thanks

dude i have no idea sorry, i havn't heard of any problems with a map sensor since my peice of s*** chrylser. I would imagine that somehow you confused the ecm, and i don't think that it was just a coincidence.
