Nice, check out my thread on my turbo it, not as nice as yours but its getting there. Good luck with the install, if you run into any problems let me know so I can plan for those when I install mine.

yeah, and it was expensive. I later found out I could have gotten most of the fittings from Napa for alot cheaper. If you plan on turboing, see what you can pick up locally.

the only thing bad that happened is the engine came down too fast on the tranny jack and ripped itself out of the motormount. Right now it's up on a jack-stand.

Nice! I bet that is how my passenger side motor mount got completely annihilated too.

You might check out the how-to install LSD thread for more ideas on junk to buy. It sounds like you have most of it though.

Looks like the beginning of a nice project, i'm particularly liking the gt2861, wish i had the money for that....but i guess when you spend about 1300 on forged internals and a full rebuild, the money for an upgraded turbo goes bye bye....i'll eventually upgrade, cuz i guarentee nobody has a 626 putting 350hp to the wheels, and i WILL reach that.....if it takes 2 engines, i will reach it.....

wastegate actuator was hitting the block. Got it solved with a custom bracket and MSP actuator.

I wish I would have saw this the other day. You could have just gone to Home Depot and got a lot of washers to make a space for the wastegate actuator bracket. That's what I had to do for my GT28RS. Great job! Now get that thing tuned, and rep the DIRTY SOUF!! (eek2)
