My tranny just blew up....

I had the AWR motor mounts front and rear and I removed them both after two months the vibration drove me nuts. I ended up selling them to someone on this forum. If your mazda is a daily driver do not install both mounts. The vibration is INSANE. Maybe just the one would be OK but I dont know. Unless you are pushing at least 250whp there is no need for those damn mounts. It makes your everyday driver a strictly track car. Everything in the car including the entire dashboard turns into a giant rattle. And that noise it makes when you start your engine is absolutely hiddeous. It is almost like the car is broken.
And yes they were installed properly I checked at three different places because I thought something had to be wrong. Until I installed my stock mounts. AHHHHH much better.

Isn't the point of them to not have the engine move around anyway?

What? Did you misread something?

I have just the front AWR one, it does wonders for the wheel hop.

yea, the point is to prevent the engine from moving.

im saying thats wierd that other people's engines would move, and his wouldnt. then i wondered if those people maybe only had front engine mounts and linux had both.

ok.
I think he meant that they didn't have the mounts at all and he had both. Even with just my front one the engine doesn't shake. I remember turning on the car and watching the engine with stock mounts, man, that thing shook A LOT!

If by pushing it hard you mean redlining it then yes i did push it hard a few times, but only when i was racing. I didnt just take my car out to race all day. When it blew out i was in first gear probably around 3500 then i shifted into 2nd and BOOM it just blew.
