Crap. Did I miss the story? What happend? I cant believe they totaled it..or was that what you decided to do. Greg had the option to fix or total out his 00 Pro, he voted total.
I had massive suspension damage when I was side swiped, the b**** hit my right on my passanger side tire and about tore my freakin door off trying to run for it.

Here is the summary:

Deer > tree > totalled car

There was way too much damage under it. It doesn't look that bad, but it did after they removed the panels.

Come to think of it accidents that dont look that bad are usually the ones that are totaled. When I found my car after the accident I was like SWEET I can get rid of this b**** and get what I want!! Nope damn thing wasnt totaled

Actually, I found out that I have no GAP coverage. At least the car was worth more than what I owe on it (dunno)

Awesome you are lucky then! I refinanced my car a little while ago and made sure I got gap. The damn thing depreciated when I drove it off the lot, and now with all my mods its probably a lot less. The used car manager @ my work said that if I ever went to trade it in that I would probably get some extra $$ for it because of the quality of the paintjob. No sense in paying for a car that I can no longer drive, if ever it gets totaled

through my insurance, gap coverage is only like an extra 20 bucks a year...pretty cheap.

I saw a used P5 for $14k!!!

I'm not sure on replacement yet...possibly a used car. I can always get a new one...
