Cheaper to replace a window...

Not in the two cases I mentioned earlier. I guess the thieves were total pros because all they broke was the plastic door handle trim which amounted to $50 fixes. Not to mention how much it sucks to remove all the little pieces of shattered glass and driving around with a busted window.

What you do next time is tape some razor blades to the back of the stereo. When the go to take it our it will slice the s*** out of them before they even know it. Then all you do is follow the blood trail to the dogs that they are.

i'd rather have my car broken into by someone that knows what they are doing , then some kid experimenting with a crowbar and a screwdriver... for example my old work truck that had to have 4 doors replaced

There are lots of breakins with this economy. I know a lady that had the top on her new MX5 sliced to get at a pair of sunglasses!! Cost $3000.00 dollars to replace. The glasses were worth $20.00!! Sucks.
