Im sitting here at the Ford chicago stamping plant in south chicago were I work and I can see my car from my office here.At about 9:45 we start getting some bad hail and it starts off small.Im thinking this isnt so bad,my car will be ok.Then it starts to get worse,The hail goes from being about the size of dime to the size of my thumb ...Its coming down hard and fast and pounding on the roof here.I havent been outside to look at the damage yet but Im thinking its going to be bad.Now spending $500 to fix it and not spending it on something that makes my car faster makes me angry.

Damn you mother nature!!!!I damn you to hell!!!

unless my car isnt damaged somehow then I dont damn mother nature to hell.....Just a time out..

Wow... Maybe you will get a new paint job that isnt so cheap. Look at the positives, if you can

we were supposed to get hail here a few days ago, but luckily i heard about it and took the beater to work and left the MS3 in the garage.

sucks tho. hail can do some wicked s***, just hope it didnt get to your windshield or anything.

Well I looked at my car today and it has about 20 dents in the roof and 2 on the hood and 1 on the top of the rear hatch....This blows...Now i have to spend several hundred $$ that was going to go towards my DP or FMIC.My car is black and you can see the dents from a mile away..

In 1998 I had owned a brand new 1997 Probe GT for 5 months and made 4 payments when a bad hail storm demolished it. The insurance company fixed it at a cost of $9,700. They replaced every panel and every piece of glass.

Just had a very bad hail storm here in Cali. The worst I have ever seen and the hail was huge. I could not even hear inside the car to talk on a phone or anything but I was freaking out trying to find an over pass to hide under.

In the end there was not a mark on the car and no damage to paint. I had just waxed it so I am sure the helped but it sounds like your hail storm was much worse. :(

Im going to take it to one of those paintless dent repair places and see what they say..I hope it will only be 2 or 3 hundred $$.This just put my DP mod off another 3 months or so..Also some people at my work had broken or cracked windows along with dents.

Same thing here in N.J. but the big problem is 3 cars and a two car garage. Wife would freak if I pulled hers out so I took the 3rd about a 1/2 a mile down the road to an office building with covered parking, problem solved. I always flip when I here a forecast for hail between the Mazdaspeed MX5 and the STi's aluminum hoods I always fear the worse, though it does not happen often.
