So I live in Spring Valley CA (east of San Diego) I was on my way to go fishing this morning when I got rear ended on the 805....The guy that hit me had Mexican license plates and just took off on me...(guess he had no insurance...) so well here are the pics...

so just wondering how much it would cost to just get a new bumper....so freakin pissed still and it happened at like 6:30 this morning...agh....btw who has a turquoise/blue car? lol...agh...he was driving like a 1987 Honda CRX or somethin...cant remember...he just kept on drivin on the freeway...agh...

man, that sucks. I had a hispanic guy back into me while at a stop light (I assuming it was a stick) and he tried to take off. Lucky for me I had a full tank of gas and he was driving an old Bronco II....I also keep the PD phone number in my phone for just such an occasion. Before I knew it I was leading a 3 cop car chase....for a few minutes anyway before the operator asked me to slow back =). Long story short someone's getting deported.

I have full coverage...but my deductable is 500...so if its less than that id rather not go thru them...

Well i dont know if this will help you but I'm sure it will give you a general idea beings that its the front bumper. The front bumper is like 150 and most body shops in my area charge right around 300 bucks to paint it. Now I can't imagine the rear being that much more then the front.

That happen to me once while on vacation in my country and I chased the f--ker and ran him off the road, then I pulled over and beat the living s*** out of him and his friends. Please don't do what I did here in the U.S. it's illegal here and you can go to jail, but it's ok in my country. Cops there don't give a damm what you do.

If someone hits & runs the deductible should be lower. I have full with 500 deductible & when someone hit mine it was only 250 deductible & didn't make my rates go up either.

I did pull over to see if he would...I also tapped the guy in front of me when the other guy hit me and he pulled over but there wasn't any damage to his car and all that happened to my front end was my license plate was a little wrinkled...by the time i looked up he was long gone in the traffic on the 805 there would have been no way to catch him and he prolly took the first exit off the freeway

Well ok that explains it, there was another car involved. The guy in front of you would reported you as a hit and run driver too, if you had chased after the mexican guy. Well you did the right thing. Sorry about your car though, but glad your ok.

yo man, sorry to hear about your incident. i also live in san diego, in the chula vista area and i know how it is. but maybe i can help you. i cant tell if the structure of the bumper is damaged, but if you need a new/used rear bumper, i have mine that i can sell to you. at the same time, i also have the wings west side skirts, front bumper and dg motorsports lip for sell if you are interested. im in chula vista, so i can even drop them off to you, let me know.

Sorry to hear that but our P5's take rearend collisions rather well.

Not sure how much the bumper was but it was $1600 to fix this.
