i love white P5's. any plans for it?

Yeah there's a lot i wanna do, but unfortunately i'm a college student and struggling to find a job so anything i want to do is impossible at this point... :/
but as soon as i get an income going i'm gonna look at any performance mods that will help me increase my mpg's and after college i'll start working on making it fast and powerful since i need a nice reliable car with good mpg's...

i'll also be trying to add some appearance things like rims window visors and standard mods like that... probably going to start that stuff with HID retrofit since it's functional too

I love those integras but white p5 is way better and you have a man stick to play with. Sub
yeah i absolutely loved my integra, unique style and good gas mileage, the only downside was my girlfriend bring so much crap to and from college that i couldn't see out of my rear view mirror, but the p5 is amazing, i can take her, a friend, and me with all of our stuff and still have all my windows clear! it's really everything i wanted and needed for college, and the manual tranny is i big plus!

Thanks! hopefully I can work enough to offset gas costs and save up to start modding, or just wait until summer to get a full time gig and really get into modding!

Where at in va are you?
my hometown is in the 757 like 45 minutes from Va Beach,
but I go to Radford University so half of the year I'm in the New River Valley.
You close at all? it'd be nice to have some forum members close to help if needed haha

I'm 30 min from Harrisonburg Not quite sure how far I am from radford
My girlfriend wen't to JMU last year, it's around a two hour drive to Harrisonburg/JMU from radford from what i remember maybe an hour and a half... (i usually go around 80mph)

fortunately for my gas tank she transferred to VT haha

i have a question about my car...
i was having rough idle and sputtering on acceleration and all the symptoms of EGR clogged but it turned out that the vacuum leak was from my air intake hose falling apart -_-
so i replaced it with the Dorman air intake hose, and now my car's acceleration is perfect, almost like a new car.
but there's one problem, the idle is kinda weird...
when i cold start it seems normal (high at first but drops as car warms up)
when i accelerate it feels responsive and like i have no loss of power
when i'm slowing down, i throw it in neutral and coast as much as possible and while i'm moving the idle is somewhere in the land of 900-800 rpms which seems normal to me.
the problem is as soon as my wheels stop moving the idle drops and just sits low...
the car doesn't sputter or anything like that, it just sits low...

here's a video of what it's doing:
me coming to a stop, you can see what the idle does:

me just idling, also messed with the ac to see if it would affect the idle:

Im going to be out of school this coming up week for spring break so i'll be checking for all connections and make sure there are no types of leaks at all, but if anyone has an idea or some advice on where to start looking i'd appreciate it!

heres my newbie opinion:
your a/c belt must not work properly hence its needing more strengh to run fully, thus taking some of the cranks power down
must be some type of pulley

would the a/c belt still affect it while the a/c is not running?
(i am learning so i don't really know that much :/ )

re-located intro:

I've been a member for a while, but haven't created a thread for my Protege5 yet, so here i go.
right now it's pretty much stock and i plan on slowly adding things to it, but progress will be very slow since i'm in college and am still looking for a job -_-

I used to have an Acura integra, but it was automatic and leaked a lot, so i put a lot of work into it to stop the leaks, and decided to rid myself of the auto and try to get a manual car. i had actually never heard of a protege5 until this summer when i accidentally stumbled on one... it was red and at a dealership, when i arrived i realized that the paint was peeling but it was listed with 90k miles so i decided to drive it anyways... as soon as i took off, i fell in love and vowed to get one of these great cars! unfortunately the car had a swapped cluster (from an auto which made it ridiculously easy to see what they did) and actually had like 150k miles, so i walked away.

later i found my protege5, white, and mechanic owned! i test drove it and instantly was sold, it had around 111k miles on it, and now has ~124k and i still love this car!

my old car (the auto):

so today i had a chance to mess with my car, so i did the airbox mod (only the cutting part) and i don't know if it's a placebo effect or not, but my car seems more responsive and a little more powerful (not too noticable, but noticeable enough)
for a free mod it's pretty nice!

pretty ugly right now, but as soon as i'm home i plan on smoothing things out
