my p5 vs msp

as i was leaving the arby's i look in my mirror and see a black msp with exhaust and tinted windows and i say to my friends looks like a possible race. so we go after him and meet up in some mild traffic. we didn't race in traffic, we just tested each other to see if the other car wanted to race. after we got a clear road we went at it from about a 45 m.p.h. roll. i downshifted to second and took off to about a 1 car lead he caught up pretty quickly and we stayed dead even all the way to 115 at the top of fourth gear. neither car pulled on the other car, it was sooo sweet i was hanging with an msp we slowed down for awhile till we got past a pack of traffic and went at it twice more with the same results. just for the record he had himself and a girl in the car. all that i know he had was some kind of exhaust, my mods are in my sig. and i had myself and two friends plus a sub box with two tens in the car at the time and then we went our seperate ways, i don't think he was liking the fact that a p5 kept up with him so he just shot off a side road and i went on driving a happy man

man that's cool. .. . ...i got ***** by a msp last night. . .i was at a light next to pates03 and it turned green and i just sped up to the speed limit but by the time i got there he was flying by me and all i heard was the turbo going by. . . i got the jump at the light cause i can launch better but that's about it

ok, i'll be the first, im gonna call BS because someone has to during these type of threads, how can a P5 possibly keep up with a msp without turbo or NOS cuz damn, itz just impossible... damn P5'rs think they have it all...

he was probably just testing the water... i seriously doubt he was getting on it.. but i'll be honost with you here.. my stock msp.. vs.. mp5raycers p5... we didn't race i was just following him.. and when he got on it.. i found it sorta difficult catching up.. it was like he had more pep than me once i got going i caught him easy... who knows... better driving abilities.. but in this case i'd say the guy was just out for a joy ride.. and i dont race fellow protege owners.. i just chill along side them..

he does have high compression pistons, cams and a 9lbs flywheel, so it isnt to hard to believe, although, weight reduction and adding subs in the back, thats kinda backwards

well put ur modded p5 up agianst a 300 whp z28 and see if you can hold at his door... my modded msp could hold a z28 at the door until about 4th gear... and i could hold a porsche carrerra tilla bout 3rd gear... same agianst evo.. hold till about 3rd gear...

on the z i was running like 13 psi.. yeah.. i said my modded msp .. hehe.. i dayum near blew my motor in nopi racing a mustang cobra.. beat him by 4 cars boosting 16 - 17 i just cranked it and now im having ot rebuild the motor but its all good and i still sya it was worth the priceless look on the guys face.

what other types of mod do you have other than hard pipes and an exhaust?
My brothers modded P5 can walk all over V8 rustangs, and it has no problems keeping up with a z28

if he's not boosted im calling bulls*** all day long or the people he races are old ladies that cant drive.

porsche have a slow take off i got the jump and was a car length ahead of him and he passed me like i was standing still in third he was giving it all he had.. more than likely he couldn't drive we talked to the guy and he was very supprise don't believe me pm mp5raycer he'll tell ya he was with me.

i have a little more than just the greddy type s... about 3 grand in total but engine wise injen cai 1 degree colder plugs greddy type s blowoff valve, ground wires... and... greddy profec b spec II boost controller...

only reason i cranked it that high cuz i got zealous and just cranked it... no the engine can not take that... and im having to rebuild mine.. so think b4 u crank it is my advice haha.

:bs: My Z28 made 290rwhp and I was deep in the 13's, high 12's on the perfect day. And thats in an auto. An M6 with identical rwhp would walk you like youve never seen.

its not bs... ask anyone that has ever ridden with me.. the weight of my msp is a hell of alot less than the weight of a z28... i held right along side him. no problems... infact i even beat a camaro ss.. who claimed his synchros were ****** up... driver has alot to do with it..

i have no reason to come on here and sling bulls***. ive been around for quite some time and im sure alot of people in here would back me up.

btw your just like most people never believe a dayum thing till you see it.. i dont blame you infact i was even in shock that i was staying along side him.. but i was there and it happened.
