well three kinds actually, primer..then 1600 degree red, then after i sanded the mazda i hit it again with 500 degree clear engine paint....that added the gloss...all this can be gotten at discount auto parts...like 4 buks each.

I blieve the valve cover doesn't use a gasket, just some kind of sealant.

I plan on doing this when I install my cams. I'm just having a hard time deciding which color to use....the laser blue or the mp3 yellow.

hey shag, whenever you get a chance, throw some black magic spray on wax on there. it'll preserve the shine. when it does get dirty, a simple wipe will get it clean. good job!
