It appears that my valve-cover gasket was permitting oil seeping down the engine block, and then sealed/dried up... However, I believe there may be some minor leaking inside the engine persisting. I noticed some oil pooling around the ceramic insulator portion of my spark plugs while changing them. No coolant in oil, but I have noticed some accelerated coolant consumption recently. How common is it for a valve cover gasket to go on the Skyactiv 2.5?
