I just got done test driving the MS3.. and WOW that bad boy gots some punch!!! I'm trying to work a deal right now with the sales man to see if the figures are right to get it. What was your MSRP on it?

The only thing i didn't like was the small turbo lag inbetween shifting gears.. but i guess thats all turbo cars. I was doing 70 at about 4k RPM and mashed it to 6 1/2 and wow it put my ass wayyy back in the set. If you ever saw the orbit white commersual on T.V. that would have been my ass if you saw me .. just cheesing the whole drive.

side note-- if you buy this car, please dont put those vinyls on there. Not tryign to knock ur style, but those things dont really fit the sleeper feel of this car lol

Ya i'm done with the vinyl and body kits.. i've had my fun with them. I'd stick with the big ass FMIC ( when they come out ) rims, Tint and be satisfied with the exterior.. the rest is all motor.

I'm letting the salesman sit on my offer i gave him. He gave me a crappy ass offer for my ride, they are trying to make a big profit of my car and my bike i'm trading in.. not to mention the $$$ they make of the MS3.

Hopefully by tuesday i'll know a for sure thing. The car is the black Mica sport model with MS3 cloth interior. The MSRP is 22,895 to give you an idea. But i'll keep you posted ..

Ya the dealer offered me 5k for my ride lol i have over 6k in parts. I know i wont get my money back but i'd take 7k or possiably 6,500.

I'm going to get back with him on Monday and see what he would offer..

Yea,but it's a 2.3 liter,which makes up for the tiny turbo.

protege garage just finished their FMIC kit (with BOV, custom intake, mandrel bent hard pipes, and relocated maf) for the speed6, so i cant imagine that the ms3 is too far behind

Sweet man!!! I just picked mine up on Friday also. All I can say is that I'm impressed with the car. I had an 06 STI and the MS3 may not exactly have the brute force off the line as the STI but it is pretty one par in the power department. After seeing those dyno charts and vids of the MS3 at 215 whp I think that something was wrong with that run. Maybe the traction control was sensing something and it pulled back power if the car was not lined up good on the rollers. For those of you who know or don't know I had a turbo P5 that was putting down close to 300 whp (282 whp) and my protege was hella fast but same as the STI, the MS3 is not too far behind in the butt dyno...... By the way, I also have a black mica (exact same color as my P5 was)!!!

awesome man... i love the black mica color. its tough to keep clean, but when its all shiny, its so deep and perdy haha. What kind of plans do you have for modding ur ms3? Obviously u did some heavy mods to the p5 to get 300whp, whats the goal for this one 400??

Well.. i just got done talking to the dealer earlyer today, the offer still sucks ass so i'm considering to wait until feb or so before i get mine. I doubt they will stop making them by then haha so I guess i got a couple of months before I can play.

Hopefully by then more how-to's and bugs will be worked out or known about the cars. And who knows.. they might do the 7.5 like they did on the MSP 3.5 and change it up and add a different color (come on lazar blue )
