Turboing a ZE is a fun idea, but I have never seen it work for long. A guy on MX-3.com, babyblue, Built...and I mean Built...a block with Forged pistons and rods and the whole shebang and he blew it within a month. I don't know if folks that run them get too greedy and up the boost or if the 10:1 compression pistons are just too much to boost. The guy I just mentioned Aaron turboed and blew his KLZE or 2, KLDE and a handful of K8s. That is why I am wondering what he is up to now.

aaron drives a slow sohc honda now..lol.. its really shiny tho. But hes trying to sell it to buy his gold De GS back. soo hopefully he will get it back.

And he has blew up every k motor besides the kj..

yes that is 10!!! motors... i gave him a hand with a few.. but those motors just arent boost friendly.. dont care what anyone says.. its a great NA motor, tho if u want a boosted motor BP is mazdas greatest creation!!!!!!

You need to visit MX6.com. I have seen many cars on there build a KLZE and they have not had problems with it. My best bet is you can get many tips from that website. They are pretty cool over there and they helped me a lot when I had my MX6.

WOW! I knew it was a bunch. We gave him my buddy Ryans K8 and I think he blew it in less than 3 days. LOL! Anyway, I am sure that a built ZE could work if you were cautious and had decent Fuel Management but I am a NA all the way kinda guy. But I do love the kick in the pants from riding in yalls boosted Mx's Justin's car is scary fast once that huge Turbo finally spools.
