My New Lapis Blue Mazda 6s

I just picked a new Lapis Blue 6s this Saturday and thought I'd post some pics for you guys. I got the 5 speed manual and the only option is the Sport package w/ spoiler. They were offering $4000 cash back so I paid $18,815 and I drove off the lot after taxes, title and license for $20,396. Not too bad considering I haven't even seen a used one for that price. they only thing I'm thinking about maybe adding is a small sub which should cost me a hell of a lot less than the $635 Bose package.

The Bose package adds an amp, sub AND a 6 CD changer. Not a bad deal. Unless you hate the Bose interpretation of high fidelity (I do) which defines 'good sound' as 'sound that we muck around with so it sounds nothing like the original recording but sounds hella loud and fills the space'

I would recommend upgrading to Mazda's MP3-CD player instead (yes, it still plays audio CDs) and adding your own sub, speakers and amp

Thanks....yeah it was kinda hard to find the Lapis Blue with only the Sport Package and nothing else. I would have probably got the black for my second choice....the Blazing Copper was cool too, but after a while I thought that my taste might change since it is a bit unique and flashy and I already have a bright red WS6.

The only thing I think I have to break the owners manual out for is to understand the Auto climate controls....I find it weird that when I turn it on with the outside temps in the 40's that the A/C comes on...or at least the light does....hmmm ???

i think the a/c light is always on, regardless of whether it's cold or not-it's just the climate control. just temperature variations depending on what you set it to.

Yeah, I think Chilly is right. The A/C light stays on to let you know that the climate control is on, not that it's necessarily blowing cold air through the A/C.

Great color, BTW, and awesome price. I'da sprung for leather and a sunroof myself, but good call on the sport package.
