Well my hood finally came in today from erebuni and i must say, i am impressed with the looks of it, for $99 i got a bragain on it, huh? (wink)
but the places where u attach ur stock heat sheild under the hood, there were no holes in the places there should be!! so i hade to attach it with some bolts until i get high heat silicone to attach it

You don't need the heat shield do you? That's part of the point of carbon fiber to dissipate the heat!

clear coat it yesterday! its gonna turn ro s*** in less then a year if you dont. a good clearing is prolly end up runnin about what you paid for the hood. dont learn the hard way! but thats a steal. i paid ALOT more for my VIS hood a while back.

and yea i kno 99 dollars is a pretty good deal, i got jacked for shipping tho($250 total price) cuz it came from cali, and im in north carolina

oh and it fits good, i just had to cut a rectangle out of the underside so the latch wouldnt hit the hood

Edit: could somebody confirm that i dont need a heatsheild? because a freind of mine didnt have one and it messed up the clear coat

so here is basically the best i could do to show the fitment, it fits great, u just have to do a little work to get it that way

Great deal on that hood! I was tempted to get one, but, I knew shipping would **** me to FL as well as the upkeep with carbon. Either way, looks good! Now, get some daytime shots!
