My New Custom Fmic

Forged internals + standalone ecu is next, possibly t3/t4 upgrade. Will see how the next year goes, should be interesting.

I'm reluctant to throw a ton of money into my car... that money could just be put into an EVO or an STi. even still... congrats!! definitely looks bad ass!
 
Very cool. Do you notice any pressure drop and stalling problem?

I am interested to getting one of those.

Yes they are doing a production version that they will be selling soon (so i am told) No cutting, but you need to remove the lame plastic that sits under the bumper (just bolted on).
Cool deal! Do they have a website? I wonder if they could do the bpv (stock) setup in addition to the bov on the lower pipe close to the manifold? I am about a month away from getting my fmic (last mod to do), and I am changing my mind every day! lol

I hear that greddy will be making one as well as apexr. The list is growing...

yea give me a call if you guys have ??'s or just P.M me, this kit has a little bigger IC than that will be on the kit, but we can custom make anything for the protege's- chris @ spd

he is one of our project MSP so i think his car is going to have more work done on it, we are mazda guys so getting a evo or a sti is not what we do, i would rather have a FD rx7 any day over those 2 cars

My only concern is the steel bottom pipe. I guess, the weight and corrosion on the inside? Could we get a diagram to show the route of the pipes to the intercooler?

It stalls if you drop the clutch above 2k rpm. I can easily drive it without stalling at all.

Probably cause your Blow Off Valve is set too loose. Try adjusting it so it is tighter. If you can't than upgrade to an adjustable one like the Greddy Type S or HKS SSQ and you shouldn't have any more stalling issues at all.
 
That looks really nice, hope mine looks like that...My shop said the IC is on its way via Fedex and will be here Monday by 10:30....With any luck I will have pics up by the end of next week:):):)
