i'd have to say, the wing doesn't bother me a whole lot, but i think it looks better without it! the car is so clean...the lines, paint..everything...this takes my eyes to the wing first and i'm not sure thats the best part of this car...

Looking better lower but my opinion still stands on whether you track it actively or not. Not like my opinion matters because it is all about what YOU like...
Remember, downforce is a function dependent on drag, and drag is a function dependent on velocity squared. Low velocity, low drag, no downforce.

Absolutely not, but that extra 0.0005 lbf of downforce you are getting while driving through that neighborhood isn't doing anything good but hurting fuel economy.

Diggin the pic where the camo trunk is reflecting off the bottom of the wing. Car was cool before & still is IMO.
About that down-force thing...
How much do you really think it's making? In a car with a curb weight over 3600lbs I'd imagine you'd need several hundred pounds of down-force to notice it. Is the trunk lid really going to support enough force to make a difference?

3600 pounds?! Curb weight of a completely stock mx6 is 2800 pounds. My car weighs 2400 pounds with some change.

If you are tracking this car with the intent of racing it via HPDE, NASA, AutoX, etc.., more power to you for trying to provide a functional aspect for your ride. I like the look from a few angles and the wing complements your car in the right shot.
Again, if your MX-6 is not your DD and is a track car, then more power to you. Just let us know what the intentions are with the car and what you are driving normally. I am sure that most will see this in a different light.
