My New 2016 Soul Red CX-5 Grand Touring!!!

I believe that the vents are below the front seats. By the way, ekcooper, is your vehicle FWD or AWD? Thanks.

Dr Kev, FWD. I live in San Antonio, TX so there's no need for AWD. LOL! I've never checked for vents under the front seats. I'll do that!

Wow, not heard of that one. I'll check it out. Thanks!

It sounds like hardware was still developed by Johnson Controls.

I don't see an article on the Navteq link but I see in this ad they say it is.

" 2014 Mazda3 Hatchback features a Mazda Navigation system that integrates seamlessly with the Mazda Connect infotainment system offering high-quality NAVTEQ maps, "

I asked one of the online Mazda parts houses when they will be getting in '16 CX-5 parts schematics. They hadn't heard anything yet.

mazdahandsfree.com claims they're using HERE maps, which is actually a Nokia service. It's the primary map/directions system for Windows Phone since Google hasn't brought their app over. It's also available on Android these days.

From their wording, though, it sounds like it's Mazda (or another 3rd party) software using HERE's map data.

Love the wheels and the new grill is better. I do wish the grill was the body color though. Nice buy!

Ok, so I said the salesperson told me the text features wouldn't work with an iPhone. Well, it is working. The new Mazda Connect will speak the text message. It won't display, but the navigation voice reads it. It's weird hearing the navigation woman speaking with my buddy's speech pattern. LOL!

Yes it works on my GS as well. I have an iPhone 6 up to date iOS and it works. I had to go into the bluetooth settings and click the i beside the mazda and turn on notifications.

I just came from np. I looked at 16 gt. Grill isnt too bad in person, rear lights are non led, it does have 2 horns now. Inside is nice but I do not like the button e brake.

Hi all

I used to have a Renault Laguna with an electric parking brake and it was seamless in the way it worked. You come to a full stop it switches on, you move off it switches off. If you wanted you could also manually switch it on and off although the only times I switched it on manually was when waiting at traffic lights on steep hills when you pulled it up to engage the parking brake harder. I actually miss the feature and if Renault could get it right I'm sure that Mazda can.
