The crossmember came painted but not very well it was a really light coat so I figured I would wetsand and scuff it and get it rdy for paint. I will be primering it with apoxy primer first for some rust prevention and to cover the bare metal spots so the paint will stick. Then I will paint it will some gloss black single stage laquer. Here it is after I wetsanded and scuffed it.

Yo man, you shoulc go all out with the conversion. All you'd really need are the seats, steering wheel, stereo, floormats, ECU, valve cover, plastic engine cover, intake manifold, strut tower bar, and rims. Also the exhaust and s***. Then you'd have an exact clone!

Well I got a stereo already and I painted my valve cover wrinkle red. I have a msp intake manifold I was going to do the vtcs removal. As for the seats I wouldnt mind to have some and I like the leather wrapped wheel too. Strut bar will be soon just havnt got it yet.

I almost finished wet sanding the front bumper for the first time around. The bumper came with a light coat of gray primer I used this as kind of a guide coat and wet sanded it with 360. Next I will primer it again with K36 and then put on a black guide coat and wet sand it with 600 and then she will be rdy for paint.

Thanks just finished wet sanding the bumper today if I get a spot in the paint booth monday ill primer it again.

I already have a thunder header on order and a mam midpipe and racing beat cat back sitting in my garage. Thanks for the offer tho . Which fog lights you guys think I should go with I was kind of liking the halo ones?

Just ordered a MP3 ecu today so I can add that to the list. I have not worked on this much in the past few days we just got a new air compressor the old one was starting to leak some oil into the lines. Also I got my car back from the dealer and it feels really slow now hopin the new ecu will help cause im not sure why exactly I know they did reflash the computer tho.
