My HKS Hi-Power Exhaust for Pro5

i have HKS axel back for the P5 too... do any of you guys use the the kartboy exhaust hangers?
i've had my HKS on my car for about 3 or 4 months and I noticed that the tip position was different when the car is cold ie. in the morning the gap between the tip and the notch in the bumper would be smaller but after driving for about 15mins the gap would be bigger... i just thought it was due to expand and contraction due to heat.
then one day i noticed that the gap was hanging bigger even when the car was cold so i looked under and found out that the hanger had ripped a hole out of the piping of the exhaust and it was only hanging by the back hanger. took it to a shop to get the hanger welded and the hole covered and they said that probably the first hanger was taking a lot of load due to the twist angle.. i dunno... could be bs... but then now the gap is always the same size hot or cold.
so you guys might want to check to see if your pipe is beginning to rip...

I posted a big thread about a month ago when mine did the same thing. Mine had ripped the hanger out and had cracked the pipe by the brace. Alot of people have had the same problem, but HKS had never heard about it. If you could, call them and tell them that another one has broken. They might eventually make the muffler better.

exaclty and for an axle back there isnt a whole lot of aroom to lose quality, it is SS, mandrel and robotically tig welded on both units, except for looks and maybe inner muffler construction they are the same.

Now with almost all of their other products your right , HKS has been in the game alot longer than toucan but toucan does have alot of evo's and supras with their stuff. Just not as wide spread as HKS, and HKS obviously puts more R&D into their products cause they can afford to.

I was just commenting on the assumption that just because something is HKS, Greddy, CS or whatever doesnt Always make it better than other smaller companies.....just most of the time =/

Looks great man, i like the way it sticks up, i have the HKS blast but i had to hang it upwards because, on bumpy roads, it constantly scraped the ground.
