I thought I'd share this with all of you. I installed my first mod last night. I wanted HID head lights but I was hesitant about parting with $400 - $600 on lights so instead I bought some High Intensity Super White bulbs from PIAA. They make a huge difference and not mention I don't have that ugly ass vomit yellow headlight color and they were only $40. I'm planning on installing my Amp and Subs after work today so I can get the car thumpin'

I've got a 250w Kenwood and 2 10" subs that I salvaged from my totalled 'stang. (headbang)

theres a GB for HID kits on the forums that you could get for less than $300 shipped...

$300... =

I had some PIAA bulbs and they only lasted about 8 months, really disappointed since I paid $70 for them. Bought silverstars instead. Although not as bright, theyve lasted twice as long for half the price. Just a heads up.

i used to have the sylvania bulbs but now have the piaa blue bulbs and i love them. wouldn't ever go back. hopefully i can get hid's soon though.

yea the hell with paying $70 for light bulbs. i didn't even spend that much on my new catz yellow fogs. i will stick with my $12 shipped bulbs from ebay.

i ran over/into an 18 wheeler tire on the freeway monday night. the car in front of my ran over it and i didn't have enough time to swerve or hit the brakes so i ran right into it. broke all front lower grills and dented the bumper and lip and scraped some paint off the bumper.

I'd love to have them too, but I'd rather get some more horsepower outta my car first. I'll spend the $300 on some OBX headers. The cheap bulbs I put in put off a nice blue-white light and they didn't cost a freaking fortune. Now if someone wanted to donate some HID to me I would be most grateful...hint hint.
