here are my first data logs and I do not like what I am seeing! =( This is all on stock ecu settings no map.

first log was from a dig and then the second was from a 4th gear pull at about 50 mph.. My KR is really high!

After you review my logs please tell me what I can do to help fix any problems! thanks in advance.

If you do it like I describe, you preserve the Dashhawk presentation, which makes it alot easier to compare things or interpret the events occuring.

seems like my knock is not so high now that I am running off of 93 octane as opposed to me running 92.. I am also running the stage 2+MSCAI 93 OCTANE+TMIC+CBE.. If I heard the person at cobb correctly he said to try and run that map and looking at all of my AFR, FP and KR look to be all in the right numbers.. Also while in WOT is it normal and okay that my AFR is at 10.X and at 14.6 cruising? What numbers are bad when it comes to the wastegate duty?

Not sure about the KR but my A/F's are 10.0-10.3 healthy rich. 14.6 is lean an I would guess is ok at cruising speeds,

Based on the ATR tuning I have done, It's bad mojo to run lower than recommend octane.

With that being said, I have noticed that the 91 octane maps have lower boost levels and reduced timing versus the 93 octane maps.

10.X A/F is way to rich @ WOT and could cause some detonation issues. I tuned for 11.X A/F.
I would suggest finding someone local with dashhawk and cobb atr tuning experience and have them assist with the tune.

Alternatively, I would suggest to do what I did and take a 91 OTS map that fits ur mods and tune for best results. I was only able to do this by making very small adjustment at a time. Starting with calibrating my MAF and than adjusting boost and timing.

WGD should not be above 90% per Cobb's manual. Something about it overheating the solenoid...

ahh ok.. there is no other map that seems to work well with the mods I have. I guess I will go back to stock.

^ you sir are correct. Also with the stock map I am still knocking and getting about 10.X on my AFR

I used to knock with 93 and 91 octane maps...And that was with 11's a/f.

I decided to copy over the stock timing from stock style map and no issues since.

Hope that helps.

OTS maps usually don't work, even if you have the EXACT mods for that map. Every car is different so it's kinda tough.

I would suggest either getting a pro-tune or finding someone that knows ATR (the tuning software) to help you out setting a custom map.

Other than that, the 10.x AFR that you're seeing is because KR is present. When KR is present, the ECU will dump more fuel into the mixture to remedy the situation. You can see right before KR kicks in, that you're in the 12's for AFR and 17psi of boost, which is not good. Then you're only reaching 13psi with KR present.

The first thing you gotta do is calibrate your MAF using the ATR software, read up on how to do it. If you can't do it, i suggest the pro-tune or a friend help you out. You will blow up if you continue on that map.

^ thank you! would anyone here would like to help me customize a MAP for me please?!?!

^ I am not really tracking on what you are saying?

Basically, I was saying that with ATR...You can open maps and copy over certain tables (such as timing/boost/etc)..

For example, there are timing tables for each map...91 octane...93 octane..and stock style.

During my tests..I would knock if I ran the 91 or 93 octane timing maps.
So I copied the timing tables for the stock style map..and used them on my custom map. This basically helped to eliminate WOT knock.

Hope that makes sense.

where could I go to learn more about datalogs and to learn to tune?

Learning to tune can be very expensive if you are not cautious and take ur time!! The key is small changes to see what is happening.
I suggest your read up on cobb's tuning guide.
I read that thing like 3 times before even trying to tune!
http://www.cobbforums.com/forums/sh...-and-tuning-discussions-for-MS-ATR-software.&

I personally use the dashhawk when driving around and use the cobb for datalogging.
