This has been a long battle in the making ..... a 72 stepside chevy with a big ass small block, rebuilt 1 mth ago...... anyway this is why i have been trying to tune my car better and add the nx n-tercooler plus a 25 shot for launch.... this truck is about 500 whp..... and i spent all weekend working on it and helping to tune it since i cant figure my car out right now and keep burning up coils.......

anyway......i will update this thread with the results........

i will enter all the details of the engine/tranny.......later tonight? anybody think i have a chance?

Nice. I'd love to just get an old chevy and drop one of those 500 hp crate motors in it

It'd cost as much as a good turbo kit and provide a lot more thrills

Btw, I think you'll get obliterated if it has a 4 speed and decent rear end

Hi joka1. Just for fun, I tried to keep up to my buddy's 500+hp Chevelle SS. For get it. Not a screaming chance in hell. His car friggin lit up the tires and then just pulled away like I dropped friggin anchor or something. He's got an A/T with a performance shifter,etc. He's burning 10.80 in the 1/4 with NOS. Anyhow, good luck. No offence, but your gonna need it if he's running 500hp. Later and peace.

yes he does need headers..... the only thing i have going for me is he is not going to be running slicks. i am. but he still has 295 on the rear and might have his mini-tub in to run 315 or a little bigger...... and i know i pretty much dont have a chance in hell but it will be fun.......

nicely done truck, nice and simple with some balls
