My car has the squirts

It is perfectly normal...it was cuased by the condensation of water in the exhuast gasses on the exhuast systems pipes...The exhuast gas movement at idle is not enough to push all of that water out, which is why it didn't come flying until you revved the engine...

same thing happens when you let your car idle to warm up on a cold morning...one you finally get in and rev the engine up to leave a ton of water and mist will fly out, but you rarely notice it becuase you are in the car...I get splats like that all over my driveway in the morning from every car I have ever owned...

Be sort of careful though...That amount of condensation will rapidly increase rust development...which will cause the exhuast to rust from the inside out pretty quickly...If you have a full cylinder head-back stainless system it won't do anything...but any non stainless exhaust parts will feel the brunt of it...
