Alrighty, so my P5 has been acting a bit odd lately.

First off when I unlock the doors with the key fob or by actually putting the key in the lock it honks. Not a huge issue just a slight annoyance. I was curious of anyone knew what it could be. Batteries are fine and it happens with both sets of keys.

Also, is there any sort of connection between the cigarette lighter and the stereo? For some reason when my charger or lighter are put into or taken out of the dash my stereo will cut power. Sometimes its just for a moment but usually it stays off for a day or so No idea how or why..

The horn honking can be taken care of by doing something with the FOB. I think the directions are on the back of it. I could easily be wrong about that. I would check the back of the cig lighter. You may have a loose connection. Just a few thoughts.

There is nothing on the backs of either of my FOBs...there's a little indent where it looks like a label could have been but I've never seen what it was. The dealership I got it from has never seen anything like it before and couldn't give me a solution so I may just have to live with it.

The connections to the cigarette lighter are still intact and I put in a new fuse for the radio just in case but still no luck. Also, pulled out the radio and all wires are still attached..

In my 2002 Astina [P5] the raDIO and cig-lighter share the same fuse. Try gently levering out the cig-lighter and check the terminals on its back are secure.
