my ******* car got broken into

Hey dex, I am sorry to hear that. Some people are just assholes and need to steal rather that buy them selfs. I hope you can get everything back and fixed again.

Sorry Dexter :( Hope everything works out for you. I know how Chicago can be. You never think it'll happen to you until it one day it does. And there's really nothing we can do cause we like if ******* chicago. Crime is inevitable! Damn bums and theives everywhere!

our families van got busted into and got a ton of s*** stolen (we were on vacation there in chicago). that was when the shed aquaruim was being redone. STUPID FUCKERS! I like how the cops are too busy to even come and take a police report. they just do it over the phone.

They are busy hassling competent drivers with capable cars who base their speed on safety instead of roadsigns, thus collecting money for the state. Meanwhile geriatrics are running through open air markets in their behemoth cars and killing people, and punks are destroying the stuff we work so hard to earn.

DEX: That really, really sucks. The worst part is that you have all of this anger and no place to put it. Hopefully some day you will see or hear of somebody else being victimized and can release all of your rage on the culprit's face. Pay it forward.

Sorry to hear that Dex!!!

That totally sucks! I hope they get everything worked out for you. (thumb)

Did you ever think, that if you had a duck; it might drown??!!

geriatrics - please provide an explanation, first time i read this word. Don know what it means.

Old persons.

Nothing wrong with them per se, but check this out:

Probably a nice guy and all, not trying to hurt anybody, but you can't ignore the consequences. That's the problem with democracy. If enough people aren't capable of driving anymore but can lobby the legistature they'll let them keep driving to keep their votes.

Sorry to be so off topic. I don't mean to jack Dexter's thread. He deserves all the attention and sympathy he can get right now.

i think geratrics are old people.

yeah i know, someones gonna start s***, but the only time the cops are ever there FOR ME (very important here) is to either laugh at me and say "it happens to everyone", hassle me for skateboarding in front of my own house, or to write me tickets for speeding.
get a ******* grip on reality, there are far worse crimes, that you should be caring about, than going 10 over the limit

cant wait till Friday, hopefully everything will go my way as im planning out. but , as you can see, that never happens.

*begin thread jack*
Amen brothers. You've both hit the nail squarely on the head. Part of the problem may be due to the fact that you can become a pig with only a 2-year degree. Requiring a 4-year degree might weed out a few more of the complete morons before they get their badge and gun.

A while back I read somewhere about a town, in Colorado I think, where at least a 4 year degree is required to be a cop. According to the story they had a very low rate of incidents with the cops there (like profiling, random beatings, etc). Fact is that it is a job that sucks and only attracts very naive well meaning people and assholes that can't wait to get their hands on a gun and badge. I feel sorry for the civic minded jerks (not Honda :) ) that sign up intending to do good. Anybody seen Training Day? :)

Even with a better degree there are no guarantees. I have run across lots of assholes with degrees. Sometimes they are worse because they are smart enough to be sneaky. Oh well. Sneaks to break into your car, and sneaks to eat doughnuts while it is happening. May as well switch to Anarchy and be done with it.

ROFL Hahahahahah! Good stuff.

Dexter...

All should get worked out one way or another and in the end you will either have everything repaired or a check in hand. Good luck getting everything fixed and keep us posted on how it turns out.

Yup! If not just total anarchy then there at least needs to be better checks in place to keep them in line and especially to keep them on the important issues. I mean, over the last 2 years here in Wisconsin they've had 2 months per year where they can pull you over and ticket you if you're not wearing a seat belt. That is SO F-ED UP! Who are the idiots that put these "rules" in place or thought this would be a good idea?! Paying a cop $20 an hour to ensure everyone is wearing their seatbelt :wtf:  :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf:

I think it is Mothers Against Everything, or something like that. No drugs, not fast cars, keep everything safe and live a long boring life.

I have a rant on another thread somewhere about the seatbelt thing. Anarchy Baby!

my ex and i always went to the farmers market in santa monica for fresh produce.............we just recently broke up..............hmmm

Dex...I don't know if this will make you feel better or not, but here goes:

Went to Sunoco in Bristol (town over from me) to get gas, and there's a kid not much older than me pumping gas into his '94 RX-7...man is that a nice car. Anywho...I get out and he starts talking to me about my car and I showed him some of the mods under the hood, etc. I asked him what he had under the hood and he was hesitant to show me and then he gave me the reason why. Just before the summer he went to a movie theater in plainville (borders bristol, but somhow all the trash from the inner city goes to this theater). While watching the film somone broke into his car and stole everything:
greddy TT, greddy manuallly controlled internal boost controller (but not the solenoid), intakes, exhaust, greddy IC (they couldn't get 2 pipes!), HKS SSQV, gauges, radio, speaks. They knew what they wanted...I felt so sorry for the guy and his beautiful car. I feel for you as well Dex. May theives burn in whatever hell there is or may be. cornhole fsk'rs!
