Here is the description of the problem:

After the car has been driven for 10-15 minutes, the Blind Spot Monitor (BSM) starts blinking saying it is off. Can anyone tell me how hard it is to get the to BSM Module so I can check for bad wire connections? Maybe a video? I really need help on this. Oh, and by the way, it's weird that it only does this during the day when the air temperature is over 82 deg. F. At night it never comes on. I can only guess that heat creates more resistance on bad connectors, so during the day when its warmer, the connection goes bad. I really want to just jiggle the connectors to see if the blinking dash board BSM indicator will go out. Any help is really appreciated. I heard the BSM part is about $500. But, I need to learn how to get to it first to troubleshoot it. Thanks in advance.

I'm having something similar with our 2008 GT AWD. On ours, it's the BSM OFF along with TCS OFF and the TSC/DSC indicator lights that are flashing about 75% of the time the vehicle is in operation. I've discovered that there is a way to temporarily return things to normal....when safe to do so, pull over and shut off the vehicle, then re-start. This will eliminate the issue for that journey. I really hope the permanent fix for this isn't anything expensive, like a BCM.

I put a new AGM battery in it last year....there are no signs of a battery deficiency.
