I have a special place in my heart (or is it lower intestine) for comcast.

They now have a few Rita's locations in Connecticut.. I got myself a misto the other day and was very very happy.

B & I ditched Comcast .. five-ish months ago? .. cause they made the BIG mistake of refusing to carry the Big 10 network (two Penn State people live in this apartment!). And the real shitkicker was the reason Comcast gave us for not carrying it: "Comcast won't carry the Big 10 network because the Big 10 is demanding that their network be included in the 'basic' type of package, which would mean rate increases for all our customers no matter what, and we don't want to do that." Yet the next month -- we got a rate increase for NO reason, and still no Big 10! I've never seen B so angry in my life -- you don't come between a man and his college football, AND charge him more money at the same time .. baaaaad things happen.

they raised my rates, took away speed channel (they put it in a "sports programming premium package" with the NFL network.) and they refuse to give me SNY (the mets network) even though I'm within NY territorial boundaries.
I can't get the games on mlbTV or extra innings because the games are blacked out. when they are on ESPN or TBS, the games are blacked out.. why? SNY has the local broadcast rights for the game, and since I can't get the channel I can't get the $%%&#$ing games!!!!
I also live too deep in the woods for a satellite. I'm boned.
So I sympathize with you two.. I really do.
