My amp fried my subs :(

no...when they fried...i had the gain at about 3/4 and the remote bass nob all the way off... as in, they were not on. Then I heard some popping...by the time I investigated it was already too late.

My subs came in today...but my replacement amp is acting funny. I've been playing around with it but I can't seem to get it to really thump. I would imagine that a 500 watt amp would get the subs moving at full gain...however, I need to crank the bass boost just to get some sound out of them.

No matter, I'm going to replace my MTX amps with a DLS A5 pretty soon (I think).
