My air conditioner only blows cold on fan speed #1

The fan blows on all speeds but the ac light and compressor and cold air only works on 1

I've replaced the blower motor resistor (35 $)
Had the system serviced refrigerant filled up etc (99$)

But still only works on 1 fan speed


What do I do to fix this ?????

I'll bet that's the problem. I just had a similar issue with my Smartop module for my MX5 PRHT. The top would retract all the way but the cover would just stay extended, kinda like a giant wing. It turns out that the signal from the top's "down" sensor was not reaching the module. I checked its connector wiring and found at least one wire that was disconnected and barely touching the pin. After re-soldering a few pins, all is good.
