My 1/4 mile experience...Pics, Videos and Time Slips!

Well since some of you started this 1/4 thread some weeks ago I finally decided to test my car. I went to the Palm Beach International Raceway (MOROSO), my last time at a drag strip was 12 years ago.....

I found a car that could by in the same power range that mine... a CRX Si lucky me the driver was a nice girl , she was with her sister who also was racing her Supercharged RSX-S

First Run I totally blew it , I got stock in 1st gear, I saw the CRX leave in front of me, alsmost caught her but I was 3 tens short I got 16.705 she got 16.407 : (video's quality is not great)

Second Run I launched better: I got 16.251 she got 16.940

Third run I had to run next to a fast Nissan 240 turbo I felt I launched better but I missed third gear . : He got 12.836, I got 16.137, not bad considering my miss shift.

The line was too long, then they close the track, well enough fun for that night. I think that high 15's is totally possible. Autocross next two days .

That's awesome =) I'm kinda jealous of your times lol but I know that even if I had a manual there would be not a chance of me getting that close since a bit of your time has to do with the awesome "driver mod" you have going

Woot.
I realized last night at a car meet I went to, it was the best meet I've been to in a long time we had over 1500 people, that people apparently remember me very well. I had to drive through the giant crowd of people/cars and between guys whistling at me I got several people yelling "autocross girl"...

ecu is the way, rev limiter killing me I have got 4.38 final gear..

If I do i will do a thread of it. happy with yours results.

Low 16's was easy, if you notice the last run's time slip my final speed was slower than the 2 earlier runs because I miss shift third gear and lost momentum. Had not done that my speed and time would have been better, easy high 15's .

I see you've been getting some practice for those prosolo launches. Good job. A 1/4 mi under 16s is actually not slow. I'm amazed a 2 can do that without major modifications. Almost makes me want to do a header and a tune on mine.
