MX-6 or Ford Probe Motor Mounts on my MSP?

so im about to buy a full set of AWR motor mounts for my 03.5 MSP from Protegegarage.com but i found out on the AWR website that the ones for ford probes/mx-6 are supposibly the same, and cheaper. Does anyone know if this is true? Please help me out

it does look like the front rear are similar, if not the same. the sides didnt look right from what pics i saw on their site.

The width of the mounts are about an inch wider. The only way they would work is if you used the probe mx-6 brackets also

Thanks guys thats what i needed to know. ill just pay the extra price from protege garage and make sure i get the right thing. Is there any where else that sells mounts that might be cheaper?

I got mine on here, it had been test fitted but it didn't fit due to the original buyer having an automatic, got it for 50 bucks less than new and it was new. I say scout out the forums, or if you can't wait buy the entire kit, it's the cheapest way. Also, go with AWR they are the best quality and you won't have to ever think about the mounts again. Seems like PG has them cheapest, but I have heard complaints of slow shipping from them.

Yeah im going to order the full set. I defenintly dont mind slow shipping, since im out here on my 6th deployment.. dont get back till 3 days after christmas!!

you wont regret a full set of AWR's. you get a little bit of cabin vibration, but its a GREAT investment.

which ones? i can tell you that there are different mounts on different probes. the different gens have different mounts. the different motors in those gens have different mounts. and at least on the 1st gens, if its an atx or a mtx means different mounts. and thats all just probe/mx6/626 related. thats not even getting into the protege ones.
