hi :)

I've got a dumb question. Anyone knows why there's a musical note icon showing next to the phone icon on the screen. What doest it mean?(scratch)

thanks

It means a Bluetooth audio device is connected. Pressing the AUX button toggles between AUX input and BT Audio...when in BT Audio mode, your phone (or whatever BT device is connected) should start playing tunes.

"should" but not always. My BB Curve shows the musical note but doesn't play the tunes I have on there. Phone works fine through bluetooth though. Not a big deal for me since I don't have much for music on the phone anyways so didn't look into sorting it out.

The music note is there because it notices that your phone has music. Scroll with your 'Aux' button until "BT Audio" shows and you can play the music from your phone. It works with my Droid phone.

I have found that mp3's via bluetooth suck compared to mp3's on a CD, at east on my 2010/bose 3's...

yeah, I've noticed the bluetooth audio quality definitely leaves something to be desired - I have the stock sound system and an iPhone. I'm using the aux input now, and it sounds so much better.
