Fellow owners looking to install a sub on the factory (non bose) system. I just had an re-q installed when I put in my sub. I don't know how familiar you guys are with this little wonder, but it may be the greatest little pre-amp crossover/line output converter ever. The difference it made in my system is nuts. When I had the sub in my mazdaspeed it really didn't sound that good. The installers could not believe the difference the re-q made and they are not talking with MTX to get the product at their store. The re-q cleans up the factory signal and allows you to tweek the new flat signal to your taste (tight or loose bass). I usually don't plug a product but the re-q is simply perfect.(wow)

It is designed to work with systems like bose. Use the signal wires leaving the head unit for signal/power/remote. Run a streetwires speed wire from the head unit back and make the connections to the RE-q then to your amp. Trust me you won't be dissapointed.
