MTX re-Q or re-Q5

Anybody currently have this or have any experience with it? I have seen it mentioned as an alternative to the more expensive signal processors like 3sixty and cleansweep. Are there any reviews or hands on experience with this that can shed some light on it for me?

I currently use one, I have the bose though so I dont know if it is really helping because the bose has a relatively flat output. I know that it doesnt hurt though. Really easy to hook up and it has a subsonic filter for the sub along with a crossover for the sub.

Helped tremendously in a friends 2008 focus though (tapped off the rear speakers).

You don't need it in a mazda 3 though. A good LOC will do the same thing and cost you a LOT less

Fourthmeal, who is doing a massive audio install in his Speed3, suggested the MTX Re-Q instead of a LOC. I had asked which one of the David Navone LOCs to get and he said avoid the Navone LOCs and get the Re-Q instead. I'm not sure why, but he looks to have a lot more experience than me so I defer to his wisdom.

Apart from the bass boost, the MTX-Re-Q provides outputs for 2 sets of speakers AND a sub. Having the sub output may save you from having to buy additional stuff.

i run the re-q, 08 ms3 with the bose sys, alpine type r front 6.5" component set, pdx 4.150 amp and type r 12" sub. the re-q is a nice little unit and seems to be noiseless. i am still running my bose underseat stuff too.
