MSP with springs thread!!!!

dam old thread dug up from the dead.

i have noticed an increase all around but poor cornering quality (because i'm riding on my bumpstops mostly) i'm sure if anyone had my same setup but done properly they would notice nothing but better handling.

i know im mp3 but we have the same suspension. i noticed the suspension maybe slightly tighter (could be my imagination though) with my tein springs.

Has anyone seen the Skunk2 Lowering springs up on apexr1.com? I believe they are pretty cheap and are a 2.0 lower all around. They say they are for an msp but who knows

I have put them on a lot of hondas and DSMs,and had them on my girlfreinds 2nd gen spyder.they are very, very stiff, not in a good way, very uncomfortable

stlblkmsp

I think your car would look a lot better if you ran with a 45 series tire, your side wall is to small for the drop you have.

here is mine with teins and 225\45 17's

My car with S-Tech's. Hopefully getting some SS coils soon, though.

Sorry to revive an old thread, but I showed this to msp#735 (he is in the market for springs), and it seems like my car has more of a "raked" look that the other eibach sportline owners. Is it just me?

I'm considering Progress and Eibach Sportlines. Sportlines will be lower, but I think the Progress springs are a little bit cheaper ($169 shipped from coximport.com), whereas Eibach's are usually much closer to $200 plus shipping.

Also, I can't seem to find any places that carry the Sportlines for the 99-03 Protege. Any tips? Where can I find them at the best price?

One final question - who has put the springs on their MSP or Protege themselves? I have done several spring/shock swaps on my CRX, but I've never worked with my Mazda. Is it difficult?

Thanks.

Alex

go to Drivewire.com or Eibach.com

I got mine for my Speed for $213 shipped
