MSP Weight..

Weighed my MSP at a weigh station near where i live the other night. With an almost full tank of gas, spare and everything else, it was 2960lbs. Curb weight is listed at 2846... Makes me sad to know how effin heavy the MSP is.

Im gonna try to put her on a diet, but theres not much i really wanna do.

I usually weigh in around 2950-3010 every wednesday. Yeah their not the lightest.

jeez...I've got my Pro5 down to 2590 with even more things I can lightenup. Put some lightweight 15 inch rims on and you'll be suprised how much better the car feels.

Interesting . mine tipped the scales at 2920 (with me inside ) earlier this week. maybe the scale is off. But take me out . and now were at 2740. I have aftermarket exhaust and am on 15' steelies right now, which feel just as heavy as the RH's.
And I have a bunch of junk (15lbs) in the trunk

mine is in the high 2300's...of course i only have 1 seat and a shifter and steering wheel...no a/c, ps, so you have to sacrifice to win!

I know this is off the subject but, is the evo bigger than the msp, just wondering cuz it sure does look bigger??

Its a truck scale, i doubt its that far off, plus my friends miata weighed in at 2260.. witha heavy ass turbo kit and a bunch of tools in the trunk.

Oh well, it was interesting to know.

the truck scales are pretty accurate as far as i know, i just use the scale at moroso, seems to be correct..

I own both of the cars and the evo is a lot bigger on the inside.

My roommate has car scales so I weighed my ride with total weight L/R, F/R, %, with spare, w/out spare, w/me, w/out me. I will post all of that tomorrow. The spec sheet is in the garage and I should be sleep right now anyway (chair)
