msp: smoked tails (reverse lights)

i decided i wanted to paint my reverse lights black mica (same color as my car) this weekend, ahahhaa! im going for the jdm slash euro look err something. tell me what you guys think. I really like how the came out, i think they give the msp a cleaner look. Eventually my goal is to make my 03 look like a 03.5. I have an 03.5 lip all i need is the 03.5 wing. if you guys want some pics i took while i was painting the tails let me know

I used car paint (sikkens) and made a small amount of 16w black mica , so when the sun hits them you can see the metallic flake. i wanted to paint them after i saw the mercedes SL55AMG taillights. the reverse lights are sorta gray kinda like a jetta.
next on the list of things to paint is the sidemakers lights on the fenders and the amber in the headlights. (thumb)

Hell ya man i want to do the amber in the headlights and the sidemarkers 2 (thumb) Car looks really good though!!!

That will be pretty sweet if you did the 03.5 conversion. I wonder if anyone has done taht to a black msp?? I've never seen one tho..But very nice car man!

How well does the light shine through there? I mean for your reverse and turn signal?
