MSP Racingharts: Tire Size?

right now i have 205/45s, and 2 of them have bubbles on the sidewall... so i'm looking to get a new set. i was wondering how big i could go without rubbing issues (on stock springs)... i think i'm going to go with 215/45s (if they clear fine), cause i don't want to go too much bigger, but i'm sick of getting ***** by potholes. (and eastern PA has SOO MANY).

and what size are these tires? (by guess)...

anybody have recommendations on brands and whatnot?

215/45/17 is the stock tire size on the msp.....

215, 220 fits i belive fine also. But stick with stock size.

You surely meant a 225...they dont make a 220.

but yeah, i have an mp3, and bought the msp racingharts & they had 205s on it, so that works out perfect. thanks!

Anyone have any idea what the widest tire(mm wise) is that would fit on 2003 racinghart wheels? I want to see if 235 would fit....but not sure....

I'm a super noob when it comes to tires and wheels.

I might be picking up a set of MSP rims so i'm looking for tires now. I'm just wondering what other sizes will fit?

I noticed this post refers to how wide you can go etc.. but how about how thick (i think thats what you call it)? I mean, can i put 215/50/17's on them? or 205/55/17? 205/50/17? etc...

Any help will do.
