why thank you sir, now that i have installed one of my many parts, i got the mod bug worse than ever now. As soon as i get the turbo kit i gotta call ken at p.g to see how much that will cost me and set up a date for that and hopefully a custom FMIC as well.

my buddy who helped with the short shifter install is also asking my other source about painting my body pieces so i will hopefully know about that today!

What Emblem do you have stuck on your radio..I could use one that size..Especially if its flat.

it is from a i believe new style i cant remember if its old or new style wheel cap. The emblem is mounted on a plastic circle and it just snaps on, i popped it right off, shaved down the clips so the back was flat, and then went to town on the center block that the 6disc head unit has, idk if the normal one does to. Check out the pics i took of making that lil' piece, btw the white backing is a milk jug ;) and a wired a red light to come on behind that whenever i turn on my driving lights/normal headlights.

PAINT UPDATE!

yeah, so my buddy came through for me!!! His grandpa paints stuff for a living, houses, refrigerators, microwaves, stoves, bathtubs, cars, trucks etc. you name it he paints it. All i have to do is wait untill it gets a little warmer, so like friggin' march! Either way...i get the bumper, lip, and eyelids painted for a steal! The price has not been negotiated quite yet, but he has told me that he will "hook me up" thats what my friend said mind you, not his grandpa(it would be cool though if a grandpa said that!!!)

OKAY, i get my body parts painted for free! all i have to do is pay for the hz yellow paint from mazda, my contact will then use that a base for matching the paint on my car!

turbo kit coming on the 14th! and fmic either going turbolifes one, or having one custom made.

I HAVE PRACTICALLY EVERYTHING NEED!
however, due to it being winter, i have to wait to install my parts! the body both paint/install, springs, rims, turbo are all going to be installed in MARCH! so this thread will basically die off untill then, ill start a new one once the parts start going in!

Sweet! I'll be watching for a For Sale thread to start with all your current NA mods.

I was planning on waiting till this weekend to put in my new short shifter and bushings, but, that didn't work out so well. I put it in when I got home from work. I don't know how you're gonna do it. Seeing those parts just sitting there for afew months. I'd go crazy!!

Before everything gets installed, lay it out all nice and neat across the floor and get a picture.

+1 even if not for a picture! Having everything neatly laid out in front of you with some appreciable organization well help tons with the install in general. Do this to avoid the 'Now where did I put that...?' situation.

And then the "well I dont really that to make this work"

note: thats never happened to me, I spent 2 hours looking for a part I lost in my driveway once.

haha yeah, pg is doing the tubo install, im only doing the body pieces, rims, painted calipers, misc stuff. i dont wanna mess with all the parts/hassle of the kit, let alone, losing a piece, with me it would be inevitable!
