their initial plan was to put carbon fiber hood and exhaust and tint on the msp so they can make more money off it. I don't know if they are still doing that since the car has been delayed for so long.
If they make you buy it with a c/f hood, make sure it's a real layup of solid c/f and resin, not a vaneer i.e., c/f layer over a chopped fiberglass base or matrix.
You should be able to tell by the weight or by looking at the hood from the underside.
A real c/f hood should be feather light like aluminum.
